Khushu' in Salah
بسم اللّٰه والحمد اللّٰه والصلاة واسلام على رسول اللّٰه - By Ruh Allah ﷻ says: Successful indeed are the believers. Those who in their prayer are khaashi’oon [have humility and attentiveness]. - [al-Muminoon 23:1-2] We all desire to be focused in our salah , we hope to find comfort and peace within while we stand before our Lord ﷻ. However, we often find that our salah feels empty. One could say our salah is lacking in khushu' , which is the soul of salah and it is something we all should strive to achieve. DEFINITIONS AND USES: In order for us to make an effort to find khushu' it is important to understand what is meant by the term.
